Credit Repair is Legal
Although the credit agencies (formerly known as bureaus) would like you to think otherwise, there is absolutely nothing illegal about disputing items on your credit report. In fact, it is your explicit right to do so. (See Fair Credit Reporting Act.) Credit- repair is as legal as pleading "not guilty" in a court of law. We provide consumers hope they would not ordinarily have by ensuring these "reasonable procedures" are followed.
We have helped consumers improve their credit profile by the credit agencies removing or correcting inaccurate, erroneous and obsolete items (such as; bankruptcies, repossession, foreclosures, late payments, student loans, identity theft, collections, settlements, charge offs, judgments, tax liens, etc) from their credit reports. We offer hope to consumers looking to improve their financial health and work towards achieving their financial dreams and goals. Results vary depending on the type or number of inaccurate accounts, as well as the cooperation received from the Credit agencies and you. Older and invalid accounts on credit reports may not take as long to resolve as Tax Liens and Bankruptcies that require more research time. The key is persistence, and it is all by following the Law of Credit. |
